Drama based on a true story. Debbie Freeman is a doctor working in Los Angeles. Keen on adopting a baby, she is ripped off by a couple who at first appear willing to sell their child to her, but Debbie is soon shocked when she finds out that the mother has already promised the baby to several other parties.
