Poignant drama based on true events about Sue Rodriguez (Wendy Crewson), who is diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, a debilitating and terminal condition. Sue's decision to end her life with dignity brings her to the attention of the media and town officials and she and her family have to fight for her right to die.
