Romantic comedy about an alcoholic millionaire threatened with losing his inheritance if he does not marry the girl of his parents' choosing. Despite his dislike for his prospective bride, he bows to the inevitable only to meet a light-fingered waitress who steals his heart. John Gielgud won an Oscar for his role as Arthur's loyal but outspoken valet.
