Romantic drama set against the backdrop of a tough training school for American navy pilots. One of the new intake falls foul of the hard-as-nails drill sergeant but takes it on the chin and finds the strength to help a fellow student who is feeling the pressure. In their time off, the boys meet a couple of local factory girls, and the stories of their cadetships and romances unfold in parallel.
