He missed out on being President, but Al Gore isn't going away quietly. Instead he is bringing attention to the biggest problem facing our world today. No, not terror, but global warming. Al Gore has travelled the world with an eye-opening presentation that highlights the terrifying consequences of human pollution.

Melting ice caps, a snow-less Mount Kilimanjaro, rising sea levels and dried-up lakes - it's not a pretty picture. The most worrying fact of all is that if we don't do anything about it, in ten years we could be facing a disaster of apocalyptic proportions. Yes, the bare facts are somewhat depressing, but Gore is a persuasive and charismatic host, making this both compelling and necessary viewing.

I watched it and thought it was nothing more than a 90 minute powerpoint presentation.

Sure he has some interesting things to say but it's been said before by smarter folks and will be said again and again until we start to take real action.
