Frontier drama based on a true American Civil War incident. A cattle drover, en route to selling his herd to the Yankees, is kidnapped by a band of ruthless Confederate troopers who plan to drive the herd into their own territory. The situation is inflamed when the cattleman helps the rebel leader's lover to flee from him.
