well i think the tape is real coz if u see the end it tells u if u have seen them or not after they been abducted so i watch it for a couple of times why it is real!
when i saw it i fault it was real and i had taped it and i kept on watching it and i beleived it untill now because i have found some information a file to do with the mcphersons abduction and the how thing might be a fake if what i have is right i hope it isnt i really beleave that we are not aloan i hope we finely get the truth one day that aliens exsist.
my sister and her friend phoned the number at the end and it was engaged that must mean that it was real bcoz if it wasnt it would have said this number not been recognised
to be fair :\ theres not much chance it oculd be real, i mean due to the way its done and expected and such, whats to say that the film was ever real ? and more or less surely if there was aliens, with spacial technology they would be eaily able to take out a few humes right ? i mean with their technology and being bent for killing it'd be easy =]

i think this tape is real because the girl seems to know so much at her age and she seems to know the things that are going to happen but we (the audiance) dont expect that. if this movie is a fake then it is very well set out

it aint real... its based on an alledged real tape of the families abduction.. i watched it on t.v and its looks low budget with skitty actors but still was better blair witch. ^.^

well obviously that wasnt the real tape it was a re-inactment of what was on the real tape.

OMG I'm a little confused, is there supposed to be a real abduction because if that's meant to be the real thing, why on earth do the aliens have human names? Do they live down the street or something. And why do the family have actors names thy could have atleast used photos of people who looked like them at the end I've seen a UFO reciently and I believe...but not in this film!!!!!!
i'm not sure. until i see the supposedly genuine video footage, i think there is a normal explanation. i.e. they were the tragic kidnap victims. maybe the same sort of crime that wolf creek is based on.
its a fake, its hard to say that but it is, watch the credits at the end it says who the "aliens" were played by. its a good movie, but its fake, i looked it up and two of the guys who are on the tape are in some shity programe called stargate so, its clearly fake

I think the big give away that this is not real is the fact that in the credits the aliens have made up alien names!
