The story of a football manager who is pressured into hiring a First Division star in an attempt to give his ailing Scottish side a much-needed shot in the arm. The football luminary turns out to be none other than his estranged son-in-law. However, the team must put past differences aside if they are to have a shot at glory against the legendary Glasgow Rangers in the film's dramatic climax.
