An evocative story of two brothers growing up in the breathtakingly beautiful landscape of Montana near the Big Blackfoot River, where they are taught the art of fly-fishing by their stern but loving father, a Presbyterian minister. As the boys grow older, they also grow apart, and although their shared love of fishing draws them together again, the shadows of tragedy are gathering in the background.
