Family drama about a New York press agent that returns to his family's fruit farm in Indiana when he hears that his father is dying. Despite having rejected the farming life in his youth, he is determined to make a success of the farm, but must win over his father's trust in order to prevent his cousin from inheriting the farm. He enlists the help of his assistant, whom he persuades to pose as his wife.
