Comedy drama about a frustrated British diplomat in West Africa who forms an alliance with a local politician in the hope that it will lead to his ticket home. Morgan Leafy is ordered by his superiors to ingratiate himself with a rising politician on the eve of an election. If elected, the politician could steer valuable oil and mineral rights Britain's way.
