Hugely popular teen star Hilary Duff stars in this 21st century re-working of the classic fairy tale Cinderella. Sam Montgomery is the downtrodden heroine of the film, a pretty teen who's forced to work long hours in her stepmother's diner. Her only release is surfing the internet, where she meets the man of her dreams. She arranges to meet him at the school dance - little realising he's the school hunk, and boyfriend of the leader of the "in crowd" of girls who bully and belittle her. A feel good film that modernises a familiar story in a charming and entertaining way.
