Sentimental seasonal drama based on a story by Truman Capote. After his parents have split up, young Buddy gets to live with his older cousins in a small-town house. The boy soon finds a close friend in Sook, as he brings life and joy into the house. The women soon wonder whether Buddy should stay with them for good.
