Steve Coogan stars in this 'bio-pic' loosely based on the life of journalists and Factory Records founder Tony Wilson, who made Manchester the centre of the British music scene in the 80s later spawning the 'Madchester' scene. From the high nights at the legendary Hacienda to the final failure of the label, award-winning director Michael Winterbottom captures a time and sound when everything was possible and excess was the name of the game.
