One year ago, I had a Chest pain, I went to the Disgestive Specialist and he diagnosed me that I have Gladbladder Infection. And he also diagnosed me that I had Irrestible Bowl Symdrome.
He started treating me with the Medications, but I still had a pain severly at night. when my chest hurts then its really hard for me to lay down or sleep at night. He gave me just some painkiller to get rid of this pain.
He also gave me Gylcol, Amitzia.
I also had Constipation Problem, which the doctors is not helping me.
The doctor's told if medince won't work, then they are going to take out my gladbladder.

My son is suffering from fistulating chron's disease. He had 3 anal fistulas.He is 14 yrs old. He has been on treatment on Predisolone from 28/2/08 for 7 weeks. He had 3 infusions of Revellex the last one was on 11/6/08. His anal fistulas have healed but he still has slight oozing from the anus. At present he takes 1 tablet of Azapress daily. and it is Divine of you to share it with all. I tried quite a few of your remidies and they do take good effect on existing conditions.

I have a medical question for you since you are learned in the relationship between the bodily function and food-intake. My body suffers from frequent cough clogging. Approximately a year ago, my body had trouble breathing—it seemed like I wasn’t able to inhale completely (to full capacity) and so I attempted to inhale a bigger gulp of air from my mouth but that too felt insufficient.
I have spoken with a doctor and a yogic guru. Both asked if I had been stressed when this happens. The doc. thought it was related to my runny nose, and especially prevalent when there was high humidity in the atmosphere. My yogic guru thought it was related to stress / anxiety and recommended pawanmuktasan. The problem almost disappeared for a while (although my body felt short of breath on rare occasions when I played sports, or was nervous about something).
In the past week or so, I have felt the problem return (usually in the evening) as bad as it had initially started.
My Responses to cough:
- I have been, and continue to practice pranayam (brhaskiya, kapalbhati, bhiya kumbak, anulom vilom, bhrmri)
- Salt water
o Gargling in the throat
o Nasal (jall prayoj)
- I have not used any dairy items for approximately 1-2 years (thinking that dairy products thicken the cough), and no bananas either.
- Doc recommended taking medicine “Medent DM” – but I only took one pill so far (and will continue only in emergency circumstances)
Also:
- I’ve recently take only light evening meals as it seems that its harder to breath with a full stomach.
- Meditate to relieve myself of any possible stress
- Sleep away from carpet areas.
- Minimized high aerobic physical actives.
Despite this, my body feels short of breath. Anything I am missing (except air)?
Dear Dr Pankaj. Please would you us some give ancient secret on how to avoid AND cure altitude sickness during long journey in the Himalayan Chardham. Especially when one suffers from sinusitis and bronchiectasis. Also any advise on elderly suffering from spinal problems sitting long hours in car travelling to Chardham.

Could you pls give me some advise on insomnia. I have this problem for last 8 to 9 years and do not sleep at all.
My doctor has prescribed some sleeping tablets but they do not help, I might get about 2 hours sleep and only can take it 2 or 3 times a week. Also tried many other thing from health shops and home remedies but without any luck.
I do sleep in quiet room, do not drink tea or coffee at night and tried massages etc/anything which might help. My Dr is very understanding but can not refer me to any sleeping clinic and I have phoned help line, but their advise is the same as what i have been doing.

One year ago, I had a Chest pain, I went to the Disgestive Specialist and he diagnosed me that I have Gladbladder Infection. And he also diagnosed me that I had Irrestible Bowl Symdrome.
He started treating me with the Medications, but I still had a pain severly at night. when my chest hurts then its really hard for me to lay down or sleep at night. He gave me just some painkiller to get rid of this pain.
He also gave me Gylcol, Amitzia.
I also had Constipation Problem, which the doctors is not helping me.

I suffer from Planter Fascia problem on my left foot.
I had this problem, with severe pain, about 8 years ago. Ordinary pain killers did not help. Then a family arthritis doctor suggested that I take the pain killer for atleast for a month or so. He told me not to stop taking the pain killer, even if there was no pain, but to continue to take it for atleast about a month, explaining that the medicine needs to be taken for a longer time, so that it goes away completely. I did accordingly, and I am glad to say that the pain went away completely.
But recently, from last year, it has started again. I went to Foot Solutions, who, over here in US, are a concern who specialise in making a graph of your foot, and figuring out which is the exat arch support I need for my foot. They also specialise in making shoes to order, to fit the right arch required for my foot. But those shoes are very costly, and I have not yet found the courage to spend $400.00 or more for it. I do wear the regular common arches which we insert in our shoes, and that does help a lot. But the moment I come home and remove my shoes, the pain starts at once. I am at present taking Motrin-(a strong pain killer), along with my food, twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the evening. I have been taking this Motrin for the past 1-2 months. The pain has reduced slightly, but not completely. The pain shoots up at any odd moment, specially when my foot hits a hard/cold surface.
Do you have any suggestions, maybe home remedies, which may not be very costly, but might reduce my pain?

My dad seems to be very addicted to alcohol. He started drinking at a very early age without any restrictions, continued to drink heavly throughout his life. Recently he has seen a doctor that says theres something in his throat. The doctor has asked him to limit his drinking and try not to drink at all. My dad isn't taking this seriously. Every time we ask him to stop, his temper arises. He's also been having many mood swings, doesn't want to spend family time because we try to stop him from drinking. I have been watching yoga 4 you for last couple of month and i had used one of your advice which reduces allergies.i am 25yrs old married women,i had allergy problem since my childhood, even my mom and sisters have the same problem. after taking your advice i used the remidy that you suggested,at it worked wonderfully,now i have suggested the same to my mom and sis and they say they are fine now.Pankajji I have one more problem, I am 5'4" and weigh 145lbs. i was in US for 3 months last year,it is when i started to put on lots of weight,i tried to reduce it for a year, i aerobics classes, did regular exercises, yoga and was on diet also but didn't lose much weight,now again i have moved to US 3 months ago for atleast 2 years and i have already put on lots of weight again inspite of continuing diets, exercises and yoga. One major problem I am facing is, for last 13years my cycles were very regular and lasted for 4-5days of bleeding,but now due to this even my menstrual cycle has altered which lasts only for 2 days and is very irregular.and i am feeling very dipressed about it as it giving me one more major problem,I have been married since three years, me and my husband has been trying to concieve from last year,i.e., 2007 but not succeeded yet and I think it is also because of my weight gain and nothing seems to work. i am very desparate to reduce my weight. I have watched some of your shows, and would like to know the cure for vitiligo or Lucoderma, which you gave recently for a friend of mine. I noted down the ingradients like 1 tsp. of turmeric powder, 1 tsp.of Indian goose berry powder and 1/2 tsp. of Bakuchi or something powder, which I don't know where to get from or if it the correct item. Rub ghee on the scalp,1/2 tsp. of ghee, mixed with 1/2 cup of water every morning. Also take til or sesame seed,black and white or one type and 1/2 tsp of Triphala powder. Take 1/2 tsp of til for the 1st,week,1tsp.2nd week, 1and 1/2 3rd week,2tsp 4th. week. Hope this will help. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Hello Dr. Pankaj Naram, I am writing on behalf of my younger sister. Me and my mother watch your program daily and the tips you give are great and help out a lot. Well my sister she is 17 years old and she has hormone problems, she did go to a doctor whom said that she has PCOS and that her hormones are imbalanced... the doctor gave her birth control pills to regulate her menstrual cycles as they would come late like every 2 or 3 months. she also has a bit of acne on her face and her facial hair are starting to be more noticable. Though the doctor said thats not a big problem as the main thing is to regulate her cycle. she tried the pills for almost a year and her menses would come regularly but after stopping they went back to being late.. so please can you give some kind of remedy for this problem. I would say that all three of those symtoms are bad but usually the one she has issues with right now is the acne and growth of facial hair. I am 56y. I have been regularly watching your TV programme on Zee TV. There has been burning in my stomach for more than eight years. Whenever I eat fruits or fruit juices, the burning gets more intense and gradually I start losing weight. At the same time there is burning in the urine as well. When I just quit eating fruit, the weight is steady,but there is no increase in it, and the burning is also at a lower level.

Hi Dr pankaj, I had ureter stone and it was surgically removed six months ago. All CT scan and ultrasound are normal now. I still get severe testicular pain on right side and I was told it is neuropathic ( mammary pain) and I was prescribed Lyrica. I am a helpless mother of a 25 month old son. When he was 4 months he was diagonised with TB and he was cured for with medication for 9 months instead of 6 months. since he had and is still having low immunity which means that his white counts are low. Though his bone marrow is producing white blood cells it is not activating properly.

Hi dr. pankaj i wrote an email regarding my mom's problem with her right hand finger nails several months back but i haven't heared the remedy on the show as yet neither did i get any reply back with any feasable cure,so plz try and help my mom out with providing miraculous remedy:) some drs say its a fungus some say its psoriasis and she has had this problem for more than nine yrs now and it doesnt seem to get any better even after so many different treatments that she has tried,instead it was before in one finger nail but now it has extended to two other fingers and also on the skin of those fimgers. I am suffering from severe headache which is around the clock and has to take pills ( Saridon) on daily basis. Somehow, it is noticed that except Saridon none other medicine is working or effective. Recently from few months now Saridon has also stopped working effectively to cure my headache.

I have few problems which I would like you to know and advise me what I can do to cure them. I am female age 53. Three years ago I had active thyroid for which my doctor prescribed carbomozel which I took for 7 to 8 months but my thyroid was fluctuating so much that my doctor advise me to either have an operation or radioactive iodine treatment. I opted for RAI. I am currently taking thyroxin 75mcg. I have following problems:
1. My eyes especially the left side had bulged out a bit and I have puffiness around my eyes.
2. My hair has gone very thin and fine.
3. I have high cholesterol.
4. My eyes water and nose start to run a lot especially when I am out.

I just had a baby a month back. My mother watched yoga for you 3 sundays ago (London 16/11/08-i believe. The Dr on the show had given a tummy reducing tip. As i just had a baby my stomach is obviously flabby, I would like this to go flat in due time but wanted to know anything else apart from walking/running and sit-ups.

I am having digestive problems known as IBS will be seeing a gastroenterologist. Had some ayurvedic drink called zrii endorsed by deepak chopra. Spoilt my digestive system. Very acidic frequent discharge urge to go am 52 yrs post menopausal. Used to have hyperacidity ocassionally and constipation but treated with homeopathy used to love pickles and yogurt . Have stopped everything . Taking prilosec has helped acidity 8o% taking probiotic 2c a day called digestive advantage. I am 60 plus. I am a heart patient, having undergone angioplasty 5 years ago and since then take medicines on regular basis with no problem so far. From last 3 years I am doing deep breathing exercise and feel perfectly alright to the extent that sometime I feel like discontinuing my medicines. For last few months, I feel whistling sound in my ears which I showed to specialist who said it might be because of cholesterol/TG and continuous use of asperin. My cholesterol/TG is under control. I have currently got an overactive thyriod and am on the block and replacement, taking 40mg of carbimozole 20mg twice daily and 100micrograms of thyroxine. I have been advised by the dr. to take this between 12-18 months then I will stop taking it completely, but there is a chance of the overactive thyriod relapsing. I wanted to know if you have any remedies which can help the prevention of my thyriod becoming overactive once i have stopped taking the medication. As a result of my thyriod becoming overactive my right eye has become swollen and caused puffiness around the eye they also become dry and water at night. I need your help urgently. When I was 16, 17 I was only 45 kilos and was very slim that my bones used to show. I used to eat and drink everything and would always remain slim, until I turned 20, I started to gain weight slowly. When I was 16, and when I used to eat anything and everything, I thought that I would never ever get fat, because at that time I didn't. Please be advised every time as to how many times NARMA to be done in a day. For how long? Also mention the combination of various hardbels to be taken in a day. I daily listen to your program on ZEETVUSA. I am suffering from Prostate (diagnosed 6-7 years back), resulting in frequent urination. The doctors I consulted have advised me to take 1 capsule-URIMAX(0.4mg) or URINATE daily for last 5 years. Doctor had also done Ultrasound 3-4 times in last 2-3 years and advised that we should not operate but just continue on medicine.

my wife keeps talking about your very informative remedies for various ailments and tells me I should try some. I am presently stressed out. I have been working constantly for 9 years straight without taking any vacation and takes my job very seriously because i deal with other peoples problems and issues each and every day. I work long hrs and do not take much time out for myself. I recently got ill with the common virus that goes around every now and then. I live in the Caribbean. Recently I have been feeling very dizzy and cold sweating, shaking and feeling very weak and head feels like it is spinning. I have been to the Dr. taken ECG etc. everything came back normal except my sugar level rose to about 300 and my cholesterol level went up as well. I checked my sugar level 2 weeks before and it was normal. I am writing to you from Malawi, Africa and are regular watchers of your fascinating program on Zee TV. Firstly I thank you for the good information you provide, which I can only classify as very practical in comparison to other health programs.
I would like your advise and help if possible. My daughter is six years old and has a severe constipation problem. Actually she has had constipation from birth. We have tried many medical remedies and other alternative medication such as commercial herbal with no avail.
She normally has a 6 to 8 day cycle and that is by force if we give her Kayam Churna (which I have been told is dangerous). I feel she has developed a syndrome to naturally going to the toilet. We see her stopping herself when she feels the urges , maybe she feels it hurts.

My wife and I are keen fan of your Zee TV programme. We watch regularly YOGA 4 U. I would like your help on my health issue particularly on Ulcerative Colitis (UC).
In 2004 I was diagnosed with UC. I was admitted in a Hospital for inflation bowel treatment for ten days. I had Prednisolone steroid.
Currently I am in remission and I am on Balsalazide (750mg capsules) and take two capsules twice a day. Since I had UC, I monitor my bowel on a daily basis. However, Since last month my bowel habit is changed.
For example- I go to loo first in the morning. I noticed that my poo is brownish, narrow, about 10 faeces of 4 to 5 cm in lengths. After an hour I get forceful urge to go to loo after having my breakfast. During the day about six times, I get similar forceful urge for nature calls. This is been happening me for over a month. I am worried that if I am rolling back to UC symptoms. I am not sure what is happing to me or why my bowel is behaving like this. I eat less food because of the frequent bowel. I am 5’7” and was weighed 70kg but now I am 68.8kg.
Along with my frequent bowel, I also get urge for Pee after an hour after having a cup of tea or soft drink.
I cycle fifteen minutes to my work place, then I walk up upto 10th floor (180 steps) on a 19 story floor building every day. I do Swiss ball exercise and Yoga three times a week.
I would be very grateful if you could help me resolve my bowel problems in any way and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

On May 11, 2009, the following recipe was given by Dr. Smita Naram on weight loss:
Women Obesity:
1 tbsp barley dissolved in 3 glasses of water
Add juice of 3 kokum
Add 1/4 tsp of dry ginger powder
Boil, strain, and drink twice a day.
Men Obesity:
1 tbsp Kulthi (horse gram) in 3 glasses of water - substitutes barley
Add juice of 3 kokum
Add 1/4 tsp of dry ginger powder
Boil, strain, and drink twice a day.
Kokum reduces swelling, obesity, and increases metabolism
>> In another version a few days later that helps with obesity and kidney stones:
1 tbsp horse gram in 3 cups of water
pressure cook, strain, and take twice a day
Add 1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seed powder
and 1/2 or 1/4 tsp of dry ginger powder (she gave two different measurements in her Hindi and English translation- mistake?)
I carefully noted these remedies using DVR so they are replicated exactly as she dictated. She stressed diet control which should include 60% vegetables, 30% moong or mung daal, and small amount of pearl millet and sorghum

We always watch yoga for you, it has been a really good show i always note down the ancient remedies!! But i have a question about me. I have a skin rash problem since 1990 and when i go out in the sun my arms, face, and neck start itching and redness and then it starts to swell and burns my skin. Even if I put sunscreen or cover my arms nothing helps!!! When i drive i always cover my arms to keep the sun away but still the sun heat travels through the cloth. I have been to the doctors and they gave me cream which helps cooling and i take allergy pills but still i have to suffer. At home i put on cold water or ice packs, aloe vera cream to help cool but it does not last long so i can't sleep all night. So it is very hard for me to travel in the sun, can you please help me, give me some home remedies which can help me ease the pain!!! In vancouver surrey, we can't find the ingredients to the home remedies, so why don't you visit vancouver? There are so many patients that want you to visit here. It is the first time on Friday 31/07 I watched "Yoga for you", i was very fascinated by the docs remedies, i was amazed that he had treatment for low sperm count. Hearing this i need to know if he can assist with patent tubes(blocked fallopian tubes). I have been through IVF's and had x2 miscarriages, it is very emotional and very very expensive. I am still in hospital as i came in for a D&C but the doc detected from my tissue sampling that was removed that i was infected with TB in the lung and the uterus, PLEASE can you assist me URGENTLY, is there a treatment for blocked tubes, i have no way forward besides IVF, i have no other fertility problem and am 31 yrs old.
