Very sad that this episode (14th June) described the lady in question as a 'born again Christian'. Way, way off beam !

and no help at all in the present society, all too ready to dismiss the christian faith. Cleanliness is a sign of Godliness, if we don't care about the inside, we don't care about the outside. The lady who refused to be drawn into discussion had the better heart. As a Traveller on The Way, it hurt that God's Word is so abused !!!!

I am watching the episode from the 9th Augst on Channel 4. I do not usually get irate when watching this programme as I realise that reality programmes are usually edited for dramatic purposes. However I felt very agitated about Sam and her skewed perception of her parenting skills or in this case lack of. I feel that she has clearly missed the fact that she has similar problems and issues with the other family such as having a lazy husband and not spending enought time with her children. I feel that Sam is actually neglectful of her childrens needs and it has made me angry that she is making judgements about the other family when she leaves her children on their own for the majority of their childhood. Also her husband's response was laughable when he stated that he enjoyed going to bowling and is appeared that he needed some - one else to advise him to carry out perfectly normal tasks and activities with her children. I feel that this episode is based on class and Sam clearly feels that she is better than the poorer family. I think that Channel 4 needs to be careful in the way in which they present social issues as at times this is clearly skewed. I would also like to note that I am a full - time mother who earns a good salary but I fel that women like Sam give us a bad name as she needs to look at her own life before she makes judgements on others. I also feel that it is ridiculous that it took her so long to recognise that she needed to look after her own children!

What a selfish and arrogant woman Torre was, hasn't a clue how to manage a family or show love. Plenty of money, family well turned out.

Now Sam shows some love for her family though some of the children seem to miss out, seems unable to express her self without resorting to swearing. Some of the kids were a bit urchin like and hair unkempt so Sam should start to look at that and spend some money on the children instead of spending £50 a week on a horse, I found this unbelievable.

So all in all neither Torre or Sam faired well but I think the 7 kids of Sam are being short changed in their upbringing.

I noticed in the review that Torre owned a so called Bentley but under closer inspection I noticed that this was actually a Chrysler with pimp wheels and a Bentley badge.......how embarrassing!! and to live in a 3 bed detached on a housing estate, this from someone who seems to detest council tennants......unbelievable. What is this woman like! And what does her husband do for a living? £95 grand a year and hes a rag and bone man!!!!!

All the best to Sam and her family.
