Adventure drama series set in the world of Greek myth. Xena and Gabrielle encounter the axe-wielding Hordes who slew Xena's old army. Xena takes command of a group of besieged Athenian soldiers and finally learns that the only way to defeat the Hordes is to beat their leader, the Hordemaster.
