After initially participating in the team's investigation, Maureen's husband Nathan goes into hiding when the agents discover Nathan and Maureen's real identities along with their involvement in a deadly bombing 15 years ago. While attempting to obtain useful information from the couple's teenage son, Luke, the squad explores whether the woman's abduction is connected to the bombing. Meanwhile, an awkward situation occurs when Jack resurfaces to assist the team - now under Vivian's leadership - as their superiors try to figure out the best way to deal with Jack's sudden decision to remain in New York.
