When the dissected remains of a human are found in a torched suitcase on a patch of wasteland, Dr Tony Hill is called in to assist DI Alex Fielding with the case, and together they investigate the possibility that the young Kurdish woman was the victim of an honour killing. Meanwhile, new team member DC Collins's relationship with an older schoolteacher gets him involved in the case in a way he could never have imagined.
