Black Run (Part 1 of 2)

Series 5, episode 3

Police drama series based around cold cases. Ex-cop Eddie Vine summons Boyd to prison, where he is serving life for murdering his partner and best friend, Tom Palliser. Boyd accepts the invitation expecting a confession. Instead he gets forgiveness and learns that Vine is terminally ill. Boyd is tormented by the possibility that he got it wrong, and sets out to prove to himself once and for all that the right man is behind bars.
