'This Life' is a cross between a soap and drama; it's broadcast weekly, and it doesn't pander to TV drama conventions which soaps usually do. There are also no US TV-style quick resolutions: situations can remain unresolved for weeks.

This series follows the lives of five young professionals who share the same house in South London but all have completely different personalities.

The five are known as Miles (Jack Davenport), Anna (Daniela Nardini), Milly (Amita Dhiri), Egg (Andrew Lincoln) and Warren (Jason Hughes). This series follows their growing relationships and their interraction with various friends and colleagues mainly in the legal profession. It is real life - but without the boring bits...

Be warned that this series broaches the subjects of sex, nudity, bad language and drug use in a very matter of fact way so should be watched with caution.
