Yokas' attempt to bond with her teenage daughter Emily (Bonnie Dennison) by going shopping with her turns life threatening when they are taken hostage by two bank robbers, Peter (Ari Fliakos) and Cameron (Titus Welliver). Off duty but armed, Yokas is reluctant to get into a gunfight with her frightened daughter by her side. Bosco rushes to the crime scene and proves willing to endanger his life to save his partner.
