Cruz and her drug addict sister Lettie are trapped inside a raging inferno along with Bosco. The three were probing a methamphetamine laboratory and must now survive until firefighter Doherty can fight his way in. Meanwhile, Yokas recalls her early months as a police recruit, when she first met partner Bosco, as she keeps vigil at the bedside of her recovering daughter, Emily.
