A camera crew from a television reality series annoys Doc, who prefers not to be portrayed as a hero. While treating a woman and her two children, all of whom were shot, Doc and Kim discover that the shooter is the father, a fugitive from the police. The gunman leads Sully and other police officers on a high-speed chase. Meanwhile, Doc learns that he may have misdiagnosed one of the victims; Bosco remains unaware of Yokas' debilitating pain from the radiation for her cancer treatments; and Davis tries to hide his burgeoning romance with a precinct paramedic from Carlos, who is now his roommate.
