A conflicted Carlos struggles to overcome his prejudice against a nurturing white family that wants to adopt the baby girl that he just discovered is his and must resist his own desire to care for her. Meanwhile, Taylor and Kim clash with a surly emergency room doctor, Dr Peterson, who questions their medical opinions. Yokas and Sully conspire to capture some Russian criminals. Yokas and her husband, Fred, continue having marital difficulties.
