Set against the colourful background of England in the swinging sixties, this compelling medical drama mixes humour, love and bitter power struggles as it follows the lives of staff and patients at a small cottage hospital. This , partly filmed in Africa, sees Dr Jeff Goodwin putting his medical skills to use in the Biafran War and struggling to deal with the devastation around him.
