    Donna.. Bob daws (gordon) has said that he is going to start filming series 8 this summer, and TR will start when the new run of HB finishes, so I'm guessing around end of june/early july.

    What i don't get is why they are axing the royal and heartbeat in 2010? because if they axe that they will lose a lot of viewers because they are a favourite family drama and they have a petition for it as well for people who don't want it axed...

    Help me - I'm confused! The first time I ever saw The Royal was on ITV3 Sat. a.m. 11th July. I see it is now being televised on Sunday eves at 7p.m. but it just isn't the same - no Susan Hampshire. Am I looking at an old episode. Really enjoyed it and would like to know how long it has been going on Itv3. Please can you advise.
