Detective drama series about LA-based private eye Jim Rockford. Some small-town citizens hire Rockford to find a fire truck, but later reveal they want him to track down and dispose of a girl who revealed their tax-dodging scheme to the authorities. Rockford sets out to find the girl before the committee get someone else to do the job.
