Detective drama series. Rockford is mistaken for an FBI agent and whisked away to Mexico by private jet to rescue an heiress from her exploitative husband. Once his true identity is known, Rockford is persuaded to rescue the beautiful playgirl anyway, and doesn't require much encouragement after she starts to demonstrate a romantic interest in her saviour.
