Another case for LA private eye Jim Rockford, who operates from a trailer and takes on cases that have been closed by the police. The Wronko family of Peru, who had been camping on the beach the night before, unwittingly become the owners of a precious gemstone that both Rockford and a mobster are determined to get hold of.
