Although they are finally happy with each other, Marissa and Ryan are forced to stay apart by their parents, Julie and Sandy. Dean Hess pressures Seth and Summer into showing Harbor school spirit, which leads them to devise a covert plan to bring Marissa and Ryan together. When the scheme works, Marissa and Ryan have a night to remember, and Seth and Summer get caught by Taylor. Meanwhile, Caleb's will is read, leaving Julie stunned and Jimmy in dire straits.
