Seth and Ryan decide to work together to create a comic book about their lives in Newport Beach. While browsing through the sketches, Summer is confused when she notices that she's not been included. Elsewhere, Sandy tries to help an old friend, Professor Max Bloom (Barry Newman), find his daughter (Kim Delaney), but the search throws up more questions. And Marissa's contempt for Caleb grows as she looks for new ways to rebel.
