The adventures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's immortal detective. Holmes and Watson are approached by Scotland Yard to help a spinster who needs help to find her missing sister. When the woman receives a grim Christmas present, the police are dismissve, but Holmes decides to investigate further, and he and Watson soon uncover a tale of jealousy and unrequited love leading to betrayal and murder.
