The body of private investigator Andrew MacHendry is discovered at the bottom of a quarry, with his two-year-old son left in an abandoned car above. When suicide is ruled out, the team try to find a murder motive. The investigation leads them to one of MacHendry's cases involving a missing girl, whose father had been contacted by MacHendry shortly before his murder. Could she be the key to cracking the case?
