When the body of a student is discovered in a west-end alley, it initially looks like a drug deal gone wrong. A bloodstained leaflet at the crime scene is traced back to a church, but the parish priest denies all knowledge of the victim. Elsewhere in the city, a woman is found dead in her office, and there are similarities with the first murder. Who wanted the pair dead? Reid becomes convinced that the answer lies with the parish priest.
