Gritty crime action from the mean streets of Glesgae, with fan-favourite Burke now taking over from Jardine. A simple suicide turns into a political nightmare for Burke when it emerges that the suicide - a sixth former at an elite school - was connected to drug dealing. The press soon smell the whiff of scandal, and Burke clashes with the school's headteacher when a journalist is allowed on the premises.
