Classic crimebusting with the hard-as-nails Glaswegian cop played by Mark McManus. The police are convinced that Greg Martin killed his father but are unable to prove it. Taggart inherits the case without realising the complications involved - Jackie Reid is emotionally involved with the suspect. When a satanist is murdered on Halloween night, Taggart fears that Reid may be in danger.
