Danny and the team investigate the attempted assassination of a famous novelist, and begin to suspect he may not have been the intended target. The evidence they uncover suggests a senior member of the Government has made a deal that threatens to undermine UK security and the life of an innocent man. Tim McInnerny guest stars.
