The re-emergence of strike action brings a winter of discontent as firefighters, nurses, teachers, air traffic controllers, council workers and rail employees all clash with the Government. MI5 closely monitor the situation, aware of the inherent dangers - but when they discover a section of the British Army is planning a walk-out of its own, they face a battle to ensure the stability and security of the country.
