Spooks is set in the shadowy world of MI5, the UK's clandestine security service. Its operators - known as 'spooks' - tackle organised crime, terrorist activities, embassy sieges, weapons proliferation and anarchists, not to mention the conflicts and power struggles back in the office. Prepare to encounter people fiercely loyal to their country, but who lie to their family and friends to protect the nation's security - and their own lives. And remember: despite surface appearances, nothing is as it seems.

When is Spooks next on TV?

In the UK... it's next showing on BBC 1 November 25th, 9:00pm and on Watch November 25th, 10:00pm. See more...

The current series (6 on BBC) is just the best so far. The plot just gets thicker and thicker as each episode unfolds.

Totally unbelievable rubbish. I am amazed it is achieving such a big audience.

It is as bad as the 1970's series, The Professionals!
