After a parasitic worm infects Pete and Chloe, they are transformed into thrill-seeking daredevils, and Pete uses red meteor rocks to persuade Clark to join them on a dangerous adventure. Not only does Clark display his powers, he also kisses Chloe, as witnessed by a stunned Lana.
