When Lionel is shot and wounded, Jonathan is arrested. But Clark and Pete perform their own crime scene investigation and quickly realise that more than one person had the opportunity and the motive to harm Lionel, including Lex. Meanwhile, Lana becomes suspicious when her lawyer father, Henry, mysteriously refuses her request to defend Jonathan.
