While Carrie is having mind-blowing sex with Ray, the jazz club owner, in the hope of forming a relationship, Miranda is on a sex strike because she's tired of going on bad dates. Charlotte is having great sex with Trey but is angry with him for not asking her to move in with him. But, Samantha's new relationship with Maria is going very well indeed. She tells Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda that she's in a lesbian relationship. The girls are shocked, but support her.
