Carrie turns in her first article for Vogue. Her fierce new editor, Enid isn't impressed and says she wants "less Carrie Bradshaw." However, Julian, the Vogue bigwig who hired her, isn't worried but after he tries to seduce her she decides that Enid's straightforwardness is easier to deal with. Miranda is freaking out about the responsibility of having a baby but when she finds herself comforting Charlotte over Trey, she realises that she might not be such a bad mother after all. Meanwhile Samantha also gets a surprise when Richard decides he wants to try the monogamy thing.
