Carrie gets herself in trouble when she unwittingly encourages a friend to leave her husband and then invites Big to her birthday party, seemingly without even her own consent. Miranda also wishes she had kept her mouth shut when she gets a little carried away in the bedroom, Sam can keep her peace about James' shortcomings no longer, and Charlotte learns the awful truth about her new puppy.
