Drama series about a fictional parapsychology unit at a university and the team's endeavours to explain the seemingly inexplicable. Monaghan and his team are forced to confront the sinister consequences of a seance that has gone badly wrong for a young man, Angus Jenson. As his behaviour becomes increasingly violent, they find themselves in a race against time to discover who, or what is controlling him, and to prevent a terrible crime from being committed.
