Drama series looking at the birth of the Roman Empire through the eyes of ordinary citizens, as well as famous historical figures. Newly appointed Consul of Rome, Mark Antony fights to control an increasingly mutinous city. His personal life is equally precarious, as Cleopatra's arrival in the city sends Atia into a jealous rage. But when his bubbling feud with Octavian finally explodes, the scene is set for a fight to the death.
