Sean and Christian must make a tough decision concerning a woman and her abusive husband, who is coming to the end of a jail term for killing their young son. Christian's blossoming relationship with blind Natasha is threatened by his self-destructive nature. Sean's relationship with Kimber deteriorates, and he isn't pleased that Julia seems happy with tennis teacher Kevin Hotchkiss. But Sean and Julia manage to temporarily put their differences aside and team up to fight Ava and her son Adrian's powerful influence over Matt.
