Drama series featuring an eccentric group of ex-police officers brought out of retirement to investigate unsolved crimes. Ministry of Defence spooks try to silence the UCOS team when they reinvestigate the death of British soldier Eric Trimble. Just weeks before a tour of duty in Iraq, Trimble, along with three other squaddies - Andy Merrill, Keith Sharratt and Ronnie Glazebrook - was sent to the MoD's Influenza Research Unit (IRU) to take part in a medical trial. One gets beaten to death.

New Tricks is a Drama programme.

Mad Dogs has no rating, but New Tricks is a 3 star programme.
