When an ambulance carrying the remains of a marine who was killed in a car crash explodes, the NCIS team is called in to investigate. The investigation leads the team to some strange discoveries - the DNA of the marine found in the ambulance doesn't match the victim's DNA; the ambulance was set up to explode; and the family of the dead marine is hiding a very important secret.
